The Preliminary games are in a Round-Robin format and can take from 1 to 15 days, which do not have to be consecutive. To make the schedule go to Make Schedule from the division schedule page.
You can specify the number of days for the preliminary games and the number of games per team on each day. For example, if you have a 5 team division and want to play the full round robin (4 games per team), you could specify 2 days and 2 games per team for each day. One Note: If there are an odd number of teams and an odd number of games per team on a given day, one team will play one more or fewer games on that day but this will even out after two days.
The Minutes between Starts is just that, how much time is allotted for each game. The Rest Time between Rounds is the time between the end of one round and the beginning of the next round (for a round 4 teams = 2 games, 5 teams = 2 games, 6 teams = 3 games, etc.).
The number of fields available are equal to the number games in a round. If you use all fields, then there will be simultaneous games on each field. See the examples on the next pages for distribution of games based on field allocation.
Playoffs are optional. There are a variety of playoff configurations available through the selection of the Consolation, Semi-Finals, and Championship checkboxes. To see the possible playoff configurations go to Round Robin Configurations and Playoffs. Please note special playoff configurations for 6 team divisions divided into 2 flights: for a single round robin there are only 2 games. The playoff configurations can be used for playing across flights to generate a 3rd game under the Semifinals heading with a championship. If no consolation game is played, the championship game is based on the overall standings after the first three games.
